So sorry to hear that Tom has passed away - what a loss. A brilliant physician, whose sensible, warm and sympathetic approach gave reassurance to so many grateful patients, and helpful advice to colleagues which we appreciated. I consider myself privileged to have known Tom as a friend. Time spent in his company was always enjoyed with humour and interesting conversation. I will miss him, but happy memories remain.
